Tensions and contradictions in mixed-up Carpets

The Carpets look similar to the carpets used for the Muslim prayer. But Moataz Nasr's carpets are scattered on the floor, looking in different directions: a contradiction with the Muslim rule of praying always towards the Mecca.
The design is by Moataz Nasr and the weaving is by the “Haraneya Children”.
