The Planted Room
The audience can't enter The Planted Room, but can only look through a closed gate. It can hear the sound of water and of many birds, but it can't go closer, it can't sit on the grass. As it happens in life, there is a limit or a gate between us and what we'd like to do or to be. Constrains is the subject of this work, as the author says.
The work was exhibited in December 2001 in the personal show in Townhouse Gallery 2001, Cairo.
